Rare Plants of Herefordshire

Les Smith, Peter Garner & Mark Jannink
Published May 2019
ISBN: 9780953971893
The Rare Plants of Herefordshire features a compilation of botanical records, both post 1987 and historical, in some cases dating back over 300 years. There is a selection of high quality photographs and an introductory paragraph for each plant that shares with the reader all the local knowledge that we have about the plant in Herefordshire.
The book is intended both as a tool for conservation and as an aid for those naturalists wishing to continue the study of Herefordshire rare plants, but also as an inspiration for those wishing to rediscover some of the county's lost botanical treasures.
