Brambles in Denbighshire

Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July

This is the third annual training meeting in North Wales for anyone wishing to gain an improved understanding of brambles. Denbighshire is a diverse vice county and we will visit a range of habitats to become familiar with some of the local species and gain an understanding of key characteristics and methods and timing of collection of specimens.

Meet: 12 noon on Friday 29th July at Coleg Cambria Llysfasi Campus (SJ147523) near Ruthin. Please bring a packed lunch.

Accommodation: Accommodation has been reserved at Llysfasi and will cost 45 per night including continental breakfast. Rooms are single occupancy en-suite and there are kitchen facilities with tea/coffee facilities and microwave etc. Facilities include wi-fi and television in well-equipped common areas. There are plenty of places in Ruthin for evening meals.

Costs: A charge of 20 will be made for attending the course.
