Recording Meetings for 2008
Meetings begin at 2pm unless otherwise stated and last until 5pm or so! It is usually a gentle stroll and all are invited but these days it is at your own risk.
Sunday 13th April, 2pm, Marple
Meet in small car park by allotments down lane by Rose Hill Station, SJ949887 to record spring flowers in local woodland.
Saturday 17th May, 2pm, Haslington
Park on verges at SJ735570 for footpaths and lanes.
Saturday 14th June, 2pm, Faddiley
Park on verge at SJ592533 to explore lanes to the south. The Thatch Inn at ca SJ591530 will see some of us lunching from 12noon-ish.
Thursday 3rd July, 11am, Peckforton
Park at SJ538582 and proceed to the south and west. Bring packed lunch! Is Clinopodium ascendens still there?
Saturday 12th July, 2pm, Audlem
Park on verge at SJ669428 for lanes and footpaths.
Sunday 17th August, 2pm, Tintwistle
Park in layby at SK035979. If the weather is better than in 2007, we will make for the Coombes Clough area, but record the reservoir edge if not.
Saturday 6th September, 2pm, Tiverton
Park in layby at SJ554602 to walk by the canal, etc.
